Twice now I've attacked and killed people outside whiterun, on the road leading down to where Honningbrew Meadery is. But I've killed all witnesses, so it says the bounty is removed. But then as soon as I approach Whiterun I get attacked by the bastard guards! Is this a glitch or what???

I helped a few guards fend off some bandits and after the fight took from a chest there. It wasn't marked stolen and they tried to arrest me. I ran north

Ahhh I see.

Hey, only the other day I was passing around the outskirts of Whiterun on Shadowmere when I heard a commotion. I dismounted and Shadowmere headed off into battle, so I followed to see what was going on and some Whiterun guards were having a scrap with some Bandits. I missed all the fun, but looted the fallen, and then saw a Chest. Didn't say, "Steal from Chest", when I moved near, it just said, "Unlock - Novice", so I did and the Whiterun Guard instantly tried to arrest me! Yeah, they're gits.

I've got a pretty funny one in that regard. Once when walking back to Whiterun from the Markarth road, the bandits in that fort not so far from the watchtower where you encounter your first dragon started firing arrows at me and my follower. Naturally my follower started fighting back and it caused several bandits from inside the fort to begin pouring out to fight. Nearby, a group of Imperial soldiers were walking. I don't know if they just hate bandits or if one of them was struck by an arrow, but they joined into the fray... so, there were at least 4 Imperial soldiers fighting at least 7 bandits along with my follower (there were also bandits who remained on the walls firing arrows). So I jump into the fray and start launching lighting at people. I suppose I accidentally torced an Imperial soldier because everything went nuts... three different groups (me and my follower, the Imperials, and the bandits) were all just balls out attacking each other. It was awesome. But that's not all, suddenly a group of Thalmor showed up. They sided with the Imperials, so when the bandits had finally been completely liquidated, I had to freakin' fight off the Thalmor! I had run into the fort so that I had more environmental affects to hide behind and regroup and eventually killed off the attacking Thalmor, though dangerously close to death. Of course I loot everything I can carry and start heading back to Whiterun... wouldn't you know it, the guards run up to me on the road and threaten me. I thought I had killed everyone! I was too tired to fight em so I just paid my fine and surrendered. That was a crazy battle.

Bastards, eh? How are they called in the Northern Kingdom, Pyke or Snow? Wait this isn't Westeros!!!

A Whiterun guard tried to arrest me after doing Boethia's Calling. I just used the "Do you know who I am? (Thane)" response and I was on my way.

Recipe for Solution:

Mix;

1 Mass Hysteria spell

1 Firestorm spell

2 Dremora Lords

Directions: Mix well at a comfortable distance and repeat as necessary until the desired results are obtained or until nothing moves in a 1 mile radius.

I had a weird bug yesterday, everyone inside the fighters guild(I forget what its proper name is)decided to attack me for absolutely no reason at all so I ran out into the town to get the guards to help me, but all the one guard I managed to find had to say about it was something to do with my sweet roll? I was like ''actually no mate, I was hoping you might do something about the large mob thats trying to kill me for no apparent reason''. Then when I inevitably died he said, ''wait, I know you'', yes, I'm the one you just watched get violently murdered to death. Thanks for the help. Tit.

Yeah I love Skyrim but sometimes the bugs and glitches of elder scrolls really piss me off. I mean I had to reload my game twice and I don't like wasting play time.

I love the guards in this game,really...they're funny and "not corruptible" at all

Apart from joke, i find some of their dialogue lines brilliant and entertaining.
