I find Lycanthropy balanced

I have a question I just thought about, anybody know the answer?

--- IF you took alterations 3 mage armor perks, and you cast ebonyflesh prior to transformation, would you still gain the unarmored bonus? i.e. 300 AR in werewolf form?

If this was the case then you could have decent armor as a wolf.

i may be wrong on this, but i thought Lycantrophy stopped scaling with the character after a certain point, wich is the reason its so flawed on high levels.
So no matter how many skill points or health u have,in Were-form u have a set health and damage.Wether ur a burly nord warrior or a frail elf thief,in wereform its all the same.At least, that is what i was informed of,once again,i may be wrong there.
tbh thats the first time that ive heard about the scailing stopping, all i know is MY beast form doesnt svck, sorry i cant upload videos to prove it and if nobody wants to believe then thats fine to, it is after all just my word, but i have no reason to lie. I am gonna say that maybe bandits that arent bandit chiefs are just wimps and imperial soldiers are just wimps but there are plenty of other enemies out there that i run with my tail between my legs, like draugr overlods, bandit chiefs etc etc

edit to Udey, yes it would work for you wolf

Yes I think it stops scaling at Lv. 40ish, but that's when it get interesting( for me ). Yes as a werewolf you should be a monster for those who don't use magic or silver/magical weapons but as it is now you need to think out your actions which adds needed difficulty( IMO ) and makes for an interesting encounter, which has lead me to the " wolf hunting " tactic. I will run circles round a gropu ( 3-6 ) which confuses the AI and at random points make a 90degree turn into the group " herding " them and making swipes as I go, I will do this until 1 or more break away from the group fleeing and hunt them down, rinse and repeat as needed. Combine this with the "fear howl" and anything under Lv.30 pisses their pants and flees from combat, higher Lv. mobs I use a " hit and run " tactic. I will power swipe as I'm running putting them on their back and keep them there, seeing how you have extra stamina as a werewolf and a super recharge it is rather simple to do this. I will die in the process but I save a lot so I change my attack as needed. But that there is the key, save often and you will learn from your mistakes.

Edit: you can use the " fear howl " to judge you prey, you can do this at a distance and if it doesn't effect them ( there are visual ques ) you slow your pace and judge accordingly.

Well that is good (even though I am not a wolf)

The armor problem and scale does affect wolf, that isn't to say you can't be powerful or function with it, but I do believe I dropped wolf completely after I got one-shotted in wolf form by random bandit chief, loaded again, and got one-shotted again.

I am glad that the ebony MA 3/3 would work for wolf, at least that is something.

I have seen the lyco tree in that video "free week" that was on youtube. From what I saw, it looked to be big enough that a character build could be almost entirely based on wolf form (given the amount of perks in that tree).

I would assume so, you can cast the spell before transforming and it carries over to your wolf form, combine that with the Lord stone and you just might be a unstoppable werewolf for as long as the spell lasts. Cast a cloak spell on top for added turmoil

And by "Judge accordingly", target them first and eliminate them. Get them on the ground and then savage them to death. And keep howling to keep everyone else scared crapless of you.

Pretty much yes, if you use your " fear howl " at distance from your target you can see weather or not that NPC is over Lv.30 ( due to the howl only working on anyone Lv.30 and under ) and if there is no effect then you plan your attack to match the target, ie... power swipe, but them on their back and keep them there, if there is more then one then you should switch to my hunting tactic of running circles and power swipe the group at random points to confuse the AI. If they are Lv.30 and under the howl petrifies them and you can have fun mauling them to death( as long as you keep up the " fear howl " to keep them scared )
Being a werewolf at high Lv.'s is very viable, all you need to do is use some tactics and plan first. Yes you are more efficient at killing in human form at higher Lv.'s but I just wanted to see if I could survive transformed while playing on master difficulty, then it evolved into hunting after a short while of trial and error.
