Does anybody else realize this with the Unrelenting Force sh

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 5:54 pm

When you use unrelenting force in a draugr dungeon, you say Fus Ro Dah just like the Deathlords say it (with their dry and old voices). Deathlords quietly say the 'Fus' part, then regularly say 'Ro,' and scream and drag out the 'Dah' part. Your character (well at least mine) does it the exact same way in dragur dungeons.

I never noticed that. I was once fighting some dragur wearing the Krosis priest mask, when one of the dragur said, "Not Krosis!" which impressed me no end. Its all in the details.

I never noticed that since I don't wear Krosis because it's light armor, but still I like how the AI respond to the different types of equipment you wear.

OP, never had that happening...does it happen with female characters too?

I think they actually say "Unslaad Krosis" (eternal/unending sorrow). They have all sorts of other battle dialogue that I really like. I wonder why they don't talk among each other when they're just chillin' around.

They are all probably like an old married couple, they've been together for so long that that no longer have anything to say to each other. :thanks:

In my experience, it happens if you are around shouting Draugr. It goes away. I installed a mod that makes me shout like them, as I think it sounds awesome.

My Redguard sounds nothing like a Draugr when he Fus Ro Dahs. In fact I didn't even realise the Draugr Deathlords were using the same shout until I had subtitles on one day. (Though now, of course, it's obvious they're using the same shout.)

I also like the way some guards' comments are based on my equipped Armour or Weapon. "Lightly Armoured means light on your feet. Smart!"

They say that quote because of the level of your light armor skill, not because you're wearing light armor.

Oh really? I know they do sometimes make comments about two-handed weapons when I'm carrying two War-Axes, so I guess it was just coincidence.

However, I walked by a Solitude Guard once in full Steel Armour and he commented positively on it, actually referring to "Steel", so it does sometimes refer to what you're actually wearing.

Yeah and when you wear Dragonbone armor they say that they want that armor. Or when you're wearing Spellbreaker they comment on the fact that its dwemer made.

Same here. I tried to be friendly to one once, you know I thought he just might be a misunderstood individual. He then proceeded to kill me.

I'll have to try this with Krosis, since for some strange reason I'm still lugging it around. Never used it, and picked it up several in game days ago.

I've had people mention Azura's Star to me, but never once have they said a word about the Ebony mail, or the Rueful Axe.

My character once got the 'lightly armoured means light on your feet...smart" comment when they were wandering around naked.

That happened to you too?? I tried that as well, and found that they just have bad gas. If you help them "release" their gas, then use the happy spell (some people call it raise zombie, I don't know why) I find that they are very cooperative. well, until they get tired. and lie down for a minute... and never get back up.
