The real skill Trainer

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 4:48 am

I think the real skill trainer in Skyrim is Angi. She live up in the mountain south of Falkreath. And there she will teach you the 'real' skill training. She not ask money, but really teach you how to use your bow. And your skill will increase too.
Doesn't like any other trainer who just 'sale' you skills (cause you're pay for every skill you want to increase). But not for Angi, she really teach you.
And I think this is the 'real' thing, and would be great if skill trainer in the future replaced by this methods.
Did anyone has met Angi?? and did you agree with me??

Agree 100%.
Made me feel like I was actually training, not forking out 400 gold for a skill increase.
It would've been nice for more of these, yes.

Yes this is actually the real-life, it would be really great if some of the skill 'sellers' replaced by the real skill trainers. Don't have to be all of it though.
Let's hope Bethesda upgrade with this method! :D

It would be great if there were trainers like her in Winterhold for each skill in magic. I hate that the professors don't do anything other than walk around, sometimes read, eat, and sleep.

@artist nah, that's you mention it! Yes, I'm 100% agreed with you. They're just wandering around, eat, and sleep. Clearly it's a collegue, but we have to pay for learning and don't do real practice! It's really dissapointing.
Same as for Companion, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and the worst is Bard in Solitude. Even if you have train there, you cannot sing or playing music instruments, it's pointless, really.

What? I've never meet anybody that actually teaches you anything, and I've certainly not this Angi you talk about. I guess I have to find her, since my character could use some practice...

I also agree, the trainers should actually give you a lesson.

Trained with her on a previous character, then when she taught me all she could, I used what I learned to kill her in an epic archery battle.

Oh yeah, I'm forgot to mention that Alvor in Riverwood or Warmaiden in Whiterun can teach you the 'real' things too. They can teach you Smithing practicaly. But your skill don't improve as much as train Archery with Angi though.

All trainers should teach you how you can use the skills. Sneak: show how to sneak up behind and slit throats. One handed show diffrent moves. What happens when you do this etc.

I just ran into her at lvl 39. I thought it was cool how she handled training. Definitely different from most trainers.
