There really is no justification to the injustice the magic system has suffered, tbe loss of spell creation was a critical blow that has reduced the magic system to a one dimensional loop of using enchanting to reduce spell cost, and then using only the most powerful spells of each school.

Then we have lost all of our spell types far to many spells that added even more depth and roleplaying value to being a mage or spell user. Skyrims magic needs these things to be elevated back to a true ES magic system. As it is it stands bare a shell of what in once was.
