I say yes. Because once you hit the higher levels nothing a challenge anymore. Introducing new enemies would spice it up a bit

I don't, 81 is far enough for me.

Leveling's based off your skills. Once they're all at skill 100, how do you propose to get more levels?

(I also don't see the difference between leveling to "100" or to "81".... either way, it's a really high number. Okay, 100 is a more even, round number, but that doesn't mean anything real, it's just an appearance/emotion thing.)

...beyond that, I've never understood the desire for "moar levels". if the game mechanics support a need for a bunch of levels (like Skyrim, with wanting to slowly gain a large number of possible perk points), then lots of levels is fine. But otherwise.....

example: Fallout 3. I could take it's 20 level cap, divide the amount of XP needed per level by 5, divide the amount of HP you get each level by 5, make it so you just get a perk every 5 levels, and make the cap 100!? And it won't mean a thing. You still need the same exact total XP to get to the cap, still get the same exact amount of HP, and the same exact amount of perks. Only thing that's changed is that you can say "The level cap is 100!" instead of "The level cap is 20!" Nothing has been gained or changed, gameplay wise. Nothing. You just get to pat yourself on the back that you heard that "level up" noise 80 more times.

(Worse, is when they just add more levels after the fact, increasing the cap. This tends to mangle game balance. Again, Fallout 3's a great example. The extra ten levels you get from Broken Steel just screw things up. The game's better with just the 20 levels it was designed/balanced around.)

Probably something CoD related. Who knows?

I don't see the need for more levels. 81 is already an insane cap (all skills 100 needed) aand that is one hard tsk. My highest level char is Level 56 and i've played hundreds of hours!

If anything they should add enemies and relevant xp gain for levels 50-81 (Considering the highest level baddies are level 50 I think) they could introduce powerful creatures to fight.

I wouldn't mind more lv 50-81 enemies. Why cap the opposition if the player is allowed to level further? I prefer to max my characters because I'm a completionist, not because I want easy enemies.

As mentioned, if the player was to level beyond lv 81, there would need to be more skills to learn that what's currently available. Once all skills are at 100, then that's it for leveling.

I don't see a need for it. Most characters people make are defined by the skills they use, and that makes up the build. For example, a spellsword might be using only One-Handed, Destruction, Restoration, Light Armor, and Sneak, so chances are they aren't even making it to the 50s. You get level 81 by leveling every single skill to 100, which is cool if you're a jack of all trades character, but alot of people don't play that way.

I don't even see how you would implement more levels, as we gain levels by gaining skills. Skills are all capped at 100. There's nothing wrong with the current leveling system, considering how EXP is gained in this game. If it was gained through quests and killing monsters like in WoW then it would be a different story, but that's now how it works, and it never will work that way without the use of mods.
