I am very pleased beth is listening fans and put things like MC, so I ask when console players will have the opportunity to create a destruction wizard that has power comparable to arch pyromage NPC's as well ranged-meele maxed character are similar on damage to marauder bandits?

Toughest Arch Pyromage that I found in Creation Kit is a Level 50 High Elf Mage (EncWarlockFire07BossHighElfM) with 659 Health, 576 Magicka, and 50 Stamina.

He will use following spells:

CloseWoundsLeftHand
Fireball
FlameCloakLefthand
IncinerateRightHand
IronfleshLeftHand
WardGreaterLeftHand

And his has some good perks:
Regeneration
MageArmor70
AugmentedFlames
wardAbsorb
Stability
MagicResistance70
Respite
AugmentedFlames60

He also carries a 50 damage fireball staff.

Pretty tough charater. A level 50 character. In particular, he has ward absorb. If you are shooting magic at him when his ward is up, you are only helping him. But he is a very one dimensional character. One straightforward way to defeat him would be to get fire resistance and magic resistance up, dodge for a while and when the time is right, stagger him with unrelenting force to disable his ward, and dualcast/impact until he's dead.

I believe you can already create a stronger mage character than an Arch Pyromage.

Good job. Too bad it's already been proven that NPC Mages damage increases as they level, whiles yours doesn't, right?

OP is referring to the relative weakness of the PC destruction spells. NPC mages actual get more powerful versions of spells than the player. Hence them being an actual threat at high levels while the PC is stuck with default spells.

Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays!

Yeah, NPC damage can easily get out of whack relative to the PC. I think it's pretty silly. Is the solution to make Destruction damage scale? Maybe. But currently, you can increase your Destruction damage via dualcasting (with the perk), augmented x (perk), and potions. Coupled with a focused build, geared toward Destruction, you can do fine. I play on Adept, but I've heard people who play on Master say it's doable.

To me, this setup is preferable to the boredom that quickly follows with a ridiculous damage-output uberlymaxxed melee character.

Currently, Destruction skillups yield more efficient casting. That is the way it's always been in TES games, at least since Morrowind. To deal better damage, you get better spells, use potions, and now in Skyrim, get perks.

It does require a different playstyle than other kinds of characters. Yes it does.

Well, except for runes and cloaks, so 6 spells out of destructions like- 24 spells? (not in front of game/uesp right now) just become impotent because they dont scale.

scale damage is a fix very simple to do , it's just change specific numbers on the code , in addition they could put a option to change the damage dealed by a spell with a kind of bar (like bars on enchanting process) that allows increase power proporcional to magika cost (i am sure a forum mate sugested this long time ago).

It is doable if you enchant everything to the max or near the max (90%+ cost reduction). I know that other people say it's doable on master without a lot potions and enchantments but when I read someone saying that, I just don't believe them. They can write multiple paragraphs trying to explain the unexplainable but the bottom line is that they're not believable. I've put a pathetic amount of hours into this game and have played almost every concievable build there is; and I've used a lot of destruction magic. It works on master ONLY with mass potions and enchantments and no other way.
