A simple request for the Dawnguard DLC weapons....

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 2:57 pm

If thw DLC adds new weapons and such, and takes place in a different area, could we please have them spawn in the regular map. Like bandits spawning with Xbows as an example.

This really annoyed me in NV with teh DLC weapons only really spawning in the DLC areas ( I have no idea if a mod fixes that, if so can some one link it to me?).

I only ask for that if the weapon fits lore, IE. a iron crossbow shouldn't be to hard to find, but a weapon that is unique to a group or region shouldn'd really spawn.

So.....PLEASE!PLEASE!PLEASE!!!!! DO THIS

Also do this with armour too please (again, as long as it lore friendly)

Could you please not call crossbows Xbows?

This really annoys me, only really because I am an English major (with writing concentration?)

I only ask because its grammatical, i.e. we use English here.

So...PLEASE!PLEASE!PLEASE!!!!!! DO THIS

Also, spell 'the' correctly too please (again, because its grammatical).

Lol, no really you have a good point. Things that you could find anywhere and aren't all that unique aside from being a new addition that came with the add-on, like crossbows, SHOULD be found anywhere.

Blerrger19's grammatical concerns aside I might have to agree with you OP. I do hope that some of the new DLC gear finds its way into regular usage throughout the world. I'm not expecting the uber bolts of vampire slaying to be on every bandit but maybe just some of the basic weapons and maybe armor, and obviously not faction styled armor, just basics would be nice.

However in the absence of needing to repair gear like you do in previous TES or the Fallout series it would likely be far less annoying I'd wager.

I'd like new weapons, monsters and armour available in the wider game and not just in the Dawnguard area.

I mean the non plot specific ones.

If there are any.

I'm still hoping for a chainmail shirt.

Sorry, I'm bad at typing. And Xbow is just a fast way of typing it, but I see why it would annoy you. I'll try to make sure I type better in the future.

judging from the trailer, it looks like that part of the story will take place in the vannila game ( DB was walking toward Dragonsreach when the sun was getting blocked) so i think we will see the new gear and monsters in the main world. The bronken steel DLC for FO3 even updated the old world to add in the enclave hellfire troopers

Forget that crap. Type how you want to. It kills me how utterly rude some people are in that feel compelled to correct someone else. They got an "A" on the Lit exam last week...well who cares?

Don't apologize for you being you. Typos and all. The post was understood. THAT is what matters. Don't you dare be sorry. Say it loud and proud!

Dude don't change cause some stuck up p.o.s gave you crap on the internet. Type however you want, I understood what your post said and so did he. If Blergerr get's annoyed by how people type on the internet then that's his problem, not yours.

On topic, I completely agree I would love to see bandits with crossbows throughout skyrim.

I'm hoping that since crossbows take longer to reload they do a lot of damage.

He already did
EDIT: But your grammar must be only so good as you see it to fit.
