Dawnguard Sidequests

First and foremost I hope Bethesda gets rid of all the lackluster and boring radiant quests, because frankly none of them will ever match the quality of a hand-crafted quest.

I really hope Bethesda steps it up with the sidequests, so that it matches the quality of previous games including Oblivion (although the main quest is stupid and cliche, there were some really cool sidequests e.g. some of the quests in Dark Brotherhood), or some of the sidequests from Bloodmoon.

Let's face it, the mainquest will probably be a cliche vampire storyline (I hope I am proven wrong), so this is Bethesda's chance to win back a lot of people's hearts (especially after the failure that was the College of Winterhold IMO).

I don't want them to be completely done away with. They offer at least a little something you can do (like a contract for the DB or a mission for the TG) which is nice, because it means the guild doesn't stop serving a purpose after you complete the questline. They should have more variety though.

I don't really have a problem with them including the radiant quests as much as I wish Bethesda would've put more effort in the various faction and side quests

I just miss the stories that the quests would tell and the characters that they would involve. Anyone remember the quset in oblivion where you go inside a painting to recover paint brushes from a thief and fight the painted ogres (or was it trolls?) that was a good quest. In Skyrim it's just 'Go kill bandit leader and collect reward' there is no story to it.
