Dawnguard and hand to hand?

Anyone remember reading a book titled "Immortal Blood" within the games?

link: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Immortal_Blood

Basically its about this man who goes on a quest to eradicate all of the vampires around the world unarmed.

If you read the text itself you'll find out his reasoning but basically I was wondering if, because there are new varieties of vampires, much like the type that are hinted at within the text, as well as there being a seemingly dedicated group of vampire hunters, wouldn't this be an opportune moment to re-introduce hand to hand as a skill? Or at the very least flesh it out some more?

They could at least introduce silver gauntlets that will do additional damage to the supernatural kind of enemies (draugrs, werewolves, vampires, skeletons, etc.) or finally introduce a kind of "touch" spell like we had in oblivion like a "Dawn Punch" whereby the caster wraps flames around their fist and inflicts damage upon their opponents.

All of these would be lore friendly and simply only add to the game. I love to roleplay as a monk but with current vanilla skyrim (especially on consoles) this method doesn't work out too well, or at least as well as I'd hoped. Let me know what you guys think

I'd love that if it happened, but I don't know that it will unless it's a something they aren't talking about at the moment. No hint of anything like it in the trailer. I like the Dawn Punch idea especially, I'd love to have some spells or powers from the Dawnguard and my monks were always part Mage for the touch spells and Restoration. I haven't made a H2H character yet in Skyrim and am wanting for mods because even if it's semi-playable they really gutted it.

Maybe they'll surprise us with a H2H addition at E3 though, you never know.

It would be awesome if they brought it back, personally I dislike the silver gauntlet idea and believe that perk should be removed from the heavy armor tree and Unarmed should be brought back as a skill along with unarmored.

I would just love to see an unarmed tree added to the game. With the finishers that are already there it would make perfect sense.

I agree, theres nothing more pleasurable then beating random people/creatures to death with your bear fist. Maybe throw some kicks in there to...

That woud be so awesome.

While i wouldn't mind if it were added getting into a fist fight with a vampire doesn't seem to be the smartest thing to do.

Especially with those mantis scythes.
