I don't think anyone needs to say thank you to anyone, Bethesda made an outstanding product that they should pride themselves in, and it's backed up by how many copies sold in a genera that traditonaly doesn't sell well compared to most. I'm very happy with Skyrim, but i'm not going to thank someone for accepting my money in exhange for a service. "Great job Bethesda" would be a lot more appropriate than "thank you" that would make me sound like a Wood Elf kiss up.
In the place where I live it is quite customary to thank the shop assistant in a bakery for selling you a sweetroll - it is just good manners i guess...
Anyway - thank you Bethesda for this amazing game that made the 60,- USD well worth investment - I have received much less enjoyment for the same or more money elesewhere so thanks really are in order. Thank you for caring about your custumers and giving them new features or better functionality in regular updates. You have done a great job with Skyrim.

It is also a big commitment for you to keep up in the future, though!
