Useless Update. (To me)

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:06 am

This update has broke mods i use, made loading times longer and added a feature that i don't even give a single crap about, i don't even use horses, i don't care about them at all, how do you go from having the game running somewhat well to breaking so much crap? It's amazing.

That's...kinda how mods work with updates. A game updates, and you have to update your mods. Happens with every moddable game that updates.

Yeah but the thing that's annoying is the fact that all they really did was fix some bugs and add a feature, how does that break loads of mods? I don't understand.

It is not, nor has it ever been, Bethesda's responsibility to keep third party mods in working order. When you put mods into your game, you accepted some level of personal responsibility for the care and maintenance of them.

It svcks that the update broke mods. But it happens, and has happened since the days of Oblivion. Either deal with it appropriately or don't use mods.

This should be stickied. Well said.

Use mods at your own risk. Don't blame Bethesda for breaking mods. They are only responsible for the vanilla game, not the hundreds of mods out there.

Yes but when they break unmodded games and then do nothing about it you just have to wonder.

Or lets face it the PS3 every time they create a new patch for it.
