Apparently you can download a beta for the dawnguard DLC. Is this true?

False, only 360 gets the beta, and 360 gets the actual DLC a month before PS3/PC.

if it was me i'd make the xboxers getting it a month ahead of time be the beta testers too instead of having a beta test and a month extra.

Yes it is. Bathesda is a pc focused company yet they favour Xbox because of money. 30 days is a long time especially in a games life cycle. "grow a pair" yeh that works in this situation. idiot

How are Bethesda 'PC focussed'? Because they started out on PCs due to consoles still being in their nascent stages? No, they develop games for all platforms that can handle them, sane as any other dev out there.

These games have lifecycle of 5 years. At LEAST. And your moaning about 30 days. How long must us console guys wait for our CK and modding abilities then? Oh, we aren't getting it at all, yet somehow we manage to not cry about it.

We have our respective pairs, yours coming along any time soon?

They are not a PC focused company. They are actually equally focused on all of their systems. If they weren't, we wouldn't be getting bug fixes and among st other things. We wouldn't even be able to play the ES games period if they were only focused on PC. Besides, you get the construction kit and all the mods. We don't. So enjoy what you got and quite complaining about how unfair everything is.

Bethesda is a PC focused company? ...what? The game is released for PC, Xbox and PS3. If it were focused on PC then they wouldnt release to all platforms. Todd Howard even said he prefers to play on an Xbox.

Bethesda is a COMPANY, more over, it's a games company in an industry that, financially, isn't doing so well right now. Can you blame them for not turning down a bit of extra money?
And is it really so hard to keep the conversation civil?

Finally, 30 days is a month. That's really not that long.
