So how far are we going to end the tyranny of the sun?

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 4:33 pm

Do you guys think that we are going to block the sun in it's entirety or will it be more location wise? I honestly doubt we'll be able to create the eternal night in the entire region of Skyrim, but that's just me.

You know, I wondered this myself when I watched the trailer. My main character is a Vampire, so I like the idea of blocking out the sun completely. At least when I play as that character......

We could compromise with us buying you Vampires sunglasses and sunscreen lotion, and in exchange you agree to only feed on bandits and the homeless whilst leaving the sun alone.

idk why but the title of this thread made me lol.

at any rate, I'm sure some crazy ultra cosmic event will wind up foiling the vampires plans anyway, even if you "win" as said vampire

Well we all saw the sun being blocked out in the trailer. Its going to happen if you side with the vampires. But yeah, usually some crazy event keeps this from happening...

They're probably just going to do something that makes it so vampires can walk around in the sun without fear.

Technically, they can walk out in the sun anyway. So, really, it may just be an image swap of the sun with a darker, reddish sun, which won't weaken them.

I hope it's just trash talk because i'm not really sure how to do it in a well reasonable way without it being done in a stupid way, the only way i can think of it taking help of a daedra lord or something near godlike even if it sounds bad too.

I still think it'll be a power or a shout to darken the sky once a day to ease your passage on the surface as a vampire.

Blocking out the sun is only a metaphor. Its kinda like "Taste the rainbow" are we really tasting a rainbow? No.

i like this compromise hahaha
no but seriously i was thinking the same thing .
imagine the enitre sky red all over skyrim
does anyone think that they will miss the sunlight and the way it will effect nature around us .
however it may make it look cooler on the other hand , who knows .
if the great red sun blocks out light all over, skyrim will become a land of massacre , death and fear .
a knew kingdom will be born a kingdom of the undead in tamriel .

Well except for the fact that the video clearly shows the sun being hidden away, Skittles never advertises people going outside and trying to bite a rainbow.

Pretty sure everybody will be hyped up about this attack on the sun which really is just a solar eclipse which ends in a few hours and everybody will laugh about it in the end.

Oh wait bethesda, did I just spoil it for these guys?

Honestly, I'd love to make the land of Skyrim look like the SOUL CAIRN.
