Hey, now that Dawnguard is coming out I wanted to give this game another go, I played it on the PS3 before but now I have a brand new computer so I would like to play the PC version. And of course mods are a must have if you play the PC version what are the top ten must have mods according to you guys ?

They're really not a must-have for the PC version, in my opinion. I've had Skyrim since it was released, and the only mods I've installed are performance and graphics tweaks, Midas Magic (now, this one basically is a must-have for mages, if you want them to be very powerful), a couple of house mods, and a mod called "Scenic Carriages" which makes carriage rides either instant or you can view the whole ride as if you were really riding them.

I've never installed, nor will I ever install any kind of texture mods, skimpy clothing, body mods, "beauty" mods, anime mods, so forth. I don't like texture mods because I've had problems with them before on previous TES and Fallout games, and the skimpy clothing, body and "beauty" mods, as well as anime mods make me want to cringe, and it irritates the bloody insanity out of me when I see people using them.

If you want to really enhance your game and/or immersion though, the two mods I mentioned, Midas Magic and Scenic Carriages, would really be good choices. :)

Mods I'm currently using:

Better Dynamic Snow - I highly recommend this one. Some snow in the game is just . . . so . . . BAD.
Cloaks of Skyrim - Just for my own vanity.
Enhanced Blood Textures - Makes the game bloodier. A lot bloodier.
Enhanced Night Skyrim - One of the first mods I installed, the nebula is beautiful.
Skyrim HD - 2K textures - I use the light version so that I don't murder my rig.
The Dance of Death - This one allows you to up the frequency of kill moves, and it's made combat more visceral for me, one of my favorites in conjunction with . . .
WARZONES - Civil Unrest - This one adds large-scale battles across the lands of Skyrim. Perfect for your inner butcher.
Unofficial Skyrim Patch - This one is another must have. It fixes a lot of the little bugs that pepper Skyrim.
Sky UI - This is the top mod on the Nexus for a reason.
Secret Room of Breezehome - A very nice addition to the house.
Whistle? - Necessary if you have any intentions of using a horse. I've got this thing hotkeyed.

There are also a number of quest mods that I've added but not played yet.
Moonpath to Elsweyr
Sea of Ghosts
And the Realms of Daedra

Mods that overhaul graphics are must have for me. Such as Reaslitic Lighting, Enchanced Water and Terrain, dozens of texture mods, ENB.. It makes day and night difference over vanilla

But 2 of my personal favourites are Alternate Start - Live Another Life and Crimson Tide - Blood
