Okay, so i recently started a new character and decided that today i'd go and do the companions quest and so forth, i completed everything up until you become a werewolf and are taken to the silver hands camp. so i thought i have the power to be a werewolf so i may as well use it the only problem is that the game has decided to make me a permanent werewolf and i can't change back to my original self and have tried everything from travelling to a different location and all the other stuff etc to get back to it... and being foolish enough to travel without saving and the fact i overwrite main saves has caused me to be in a point of no return.

Anybody know how i can return to my former character without all the fur and growling?

I really do not know how to help you, does dying and reloading help? waiting a few hours? are NPC's hostile to you?

non- serious mode:
I would roleplay it. Getting stuck as a werewolf could be interesting. If you can ever reproduce the glitch let me know how

I've had this happen. You're just gonna have to go to your last save. Nothing that I know of that you can do about it.

Here is the best solution possible.....KILL EVERYONE. You're a werewolf, smack everybody to the moon.

im actually enjoying the fact that i can run for miles at high speeds and eat a guards head but i just really want in the long run to maybe finish off everything else and well i've tried everything from jumping off a cliff to die to see if it changes me back to going in and out of doors and the fact i cant load a save is irritating but thats life right there.
hopefully the game will have a heart and change me back

What you need is something that forces a re-rendering of your character. Such as when you're changed into various animals in the CoW sidequest.

since you made the mistake of overwriting your save then you should play a dead is dead game as a werewolf...on console theres not much you can do
