Story of Garveshi-Legendary assassin
So you wish to hear my story do you? The story of that legendary Assassin that could disappear in the shadows, transform into a cloud of mist, or perform some other remarkably mythological ability. The details of my past are not meant for the faint of heart nor is it the story of clashing heroes as some have been lead to believe. I have adopted many professions throughout my time. I was a bounty hunter, Smuggler, duelist, ruthless mercenary, Pirate Captain of the Topal Seas, Thief, a merciless bandit, I did it all. No one ever understood why I really chose my path through life but I have always lived by 1 rule: Do what you must to survive and enjoy the fruits that life has to offer. Nothing ever mattered to me other than the deal and the amount of profit to be made by it no matter what kind of job it be.
My life takes place in the infamous city of Senchal on the southern-most peninsula of Elsweyr where I was born. The city was a paradise for people like me; full of crime and hardly no justice to be found. Lead one of the greatest crime sprees I did. I had my loving Pa named John Aldrivich an imperial; had the shiny end of a gold coin on his head I would always say. Had always worked as an honest tradesman in one of the many merchant quarters that dot the city. Loving man whom I called my father and took me and my brother in since our mother abandoned the both of us as cubs, damned [censored] she was. I was around 5 years when this occurred and my brother was around 12. Before that, we had lived out on the streets my brother always trying to scrounge up whatever coin he could. The old fool had always inspired me in many ways and even today I still miss him being alive. Taught me all honest works of the trade he did and I always wanted to have an honest livng as a trader just like our pa. I knew valuable friends on the street I did but one whom I known throughout most of my life would be my brother, Markiah but was known by most as code name Haikram due to...unforeseen circumstances with the Senchal guardsmen.
As I have said, this be not the tale of dashing heroes or knights who save pretty girls from tall, toppling towers. This is the story of a Cat who had nine lives, the story of the greatest Crime-Spree known to man and mer. I am Garveshi, legendary master Assassin and fabled dragonborn in the northern reaches of Skyrim and this is my Story...
Prologue (part 1)
It was brisk and cold-night in the city of Senchal. Every night, men secretly communing with eachother in secret, the usual unlucky villager getting mugged in a dark alley, or someone randomly gets pickpocketed without even realizing it. It was a city running rampant with crime and dark-cults worshipping daedic lords in secret with hardly any justice to be had to control it all. There are rumors that crime lords bribe nobles to make sure guard patrols look the other way when threatend or they offer to take care of "troublemakers" for the nobles. All it takes is a small pouch of gold coins to hand to the guards and they would look the other way every time. There are also rumors of a small band of rebels grouping up to cleanse the filth of corruption from Senchal but whether this is true remains to be seen.
The story begins inside a two-story tradeshop called "Aldrivich's Trade Goods". Inside, the store was being attended by Garveshi, the shop assistant. He was a Khajiit colored of black fur with shiny orange eyes with little patches of pale white fur throughout his forehead, cheeks and neck with messy, long black hair that dominated the top of his head. His father, John was out attempting to establish a trade agreement along with his brother leaving him to take care of the shop until they returned. Garveshi knew the tricks of the trade; to always barter at a decent price around the value of what the item is worth. He knew the value of most of the items here to be found around the store. Mostly dishwares and kitchenwares, some unpolished silver jewelry, basic clothing but nothing too fancy along with some barely sharpened iron swords and daggers.
While attending the store, Garveshi hears the door to the shop open rapidly and inside walks a orange-furred Khajiit who had black-stripes along the side of his face, along with 2 very large and brutish looking Nords. Garveshi recognized them immediately as members of a Criminal organization known as the Black Talon judging by the sharp black eagle's talon crests on their leather armor. They were armed, the Khajiit with a pair of what looked like curved Steel daggers at both sides of his hip while the Nords had 2 Iron warhammers at their backs. "Well lookie at who we 'ave ere boys" said the Khajiit. "It be Jonnie's lil boy all alone in his backwater drop of a shop". The Nords behind him gasped in laughter. Garveshi, startled by the sudden "visitors" to the shop replied, "Uhm...we are closed sir. Come back another..." "shut it you little mudcrab" interrupted the Khajiit. " Your dear ol' father owes our organization some coin that he had never payed and we have come to collect. Show us where he keeps his Strongbox right now and we won't have to get rough". "But...I don know where he keeps it" replied Garveshi, nervous as to the possible outcome of the situation. " Brook, take him while we search the shop, make sure he doesn't squeal too loud that some guardsmen come to check us out. I'm sure dear ol daddy keeps his treasure around here somewhere".
The nord grabs Garveshi by the collar of his shirt and drags him to a nearby wooden chair, bounding him with pieces of cloth along with wrapping his mouth. Meanwhile, the thugs were making a mess of the whole shop. Turning over tables and shelves, smashing display cases and taking the silver jewels out of them. This was not the first time a band of thugs came in to "search the store". Another band of thugs came in last week doing the exact same thing they were doing and did'nt find anything. Garveshi hoped that they would just leave quietly after they found what they were looking for.
"Check upstairs, its got to be around here somewhere" commanded the Khajiit. After minutes of searching and crashing furniture to the ground, they ended up finding nothing at all of what they were looking for. "Check for any secret trap doors er loose wooden planks. I know it be here". After looking behind a small drawer case next to a dark corner he finds a loose plank in the wall. After breaking it apart, he takes out a small, steel chest. "Ah...ere it is. I e'ar gold coins inside too. This should make da boss 'appy". Proceeding back downstairs the Khajiit thug walks to Garveshi whilst bound to the chair and says "let this be a message to John that when someone owe money to da black talons...we always collect" and gives a swift punching strike to Garveshi in the chest, leading him desperately attempting to gasp for breath through the cloth in his mouth. "Let's go men, oh n I look forward to a return visit in the future". After that, the thugs proceeded out the store leaving him bound to the chair. However, Garveshi was no longer worried when they finally left the shop. His father was always a clever sort, making it difficult for thugs to harass him. Atleast they found the chest that is locked up full of seashells rather than the actual strongbox or otherwise the shop may have gone out of business. Grabbing a small knife off the shelf of a nearby wall he managed to cut himself free of his bonds and hopefully attempt to clean up shop before his father and brother returned.
The story gets alot more interesting after this part. So what do you guys think, did you like it?
