What we want vampire lord to encompass

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:35 pm

The werewolf form is incredibly useless to me now. and I dont want the vampire lord to become equally useless. What I mean by useless is that by this point i have one handed weapons that deal 150 damage, the full 80% damage reduction and above 600 health. Needless to say werewolf form is useless to me and I would like us to discuss among ourselves what we think would make the vampire lord form useful to all levels ,but in no conceivable way overpowered.

I don't play as a werewolf like ever hate them but these "perks" may make the old werewolf form more use to higher lvl players.

Well, hopefully the vampire lord will scale to your character's stats, and benefit from his gear. That's all you really need, and it should of course be applied to werewolves too.

Sounds to me as if the Vampire Lord form might focus a bit more on magic and powers rather than physical contact - being able to lift people into the air and drain their life, turn into a swarm of bats, etc. I've never seen any screenshot or art where the vampire lord has a weapon, though I hope you'll still be able to use your sword/whatever.

From what i've heard you can change to and back from vampire lord at will. This would require access to the character menu so I'm assuming we get spells and equipment.

You'd think that if werewolves get a perk tree, it would be only natural for vampires to get a tree too. Lord knows there's enough player-made Lycan and Vampire perk trees to draw ideas from.

Well in both werewolf and vampire form you get exclusive powers that can only be used in those forms as far as scaling with your level? Well no matter how you slice it a werewolf is just a creature just like any others so they should be able to die pretty easy. A counter balance bethesda can add is that the only weapon that can do permanent damage to werewolves is silver if you get damaged by any other weapon or creature you should quickly regenerate.

I want Unarmed Combat to get a boost while in Vampire Lord form. I want to go into a cave and rip bandits apart and drain their life in very cool ways.

I just really hope the drain life spell is really powerful. Thats probably my favorite spell in video games and as a vampire I would like to svck the life from my enemies please. I dont want to have to resort to non vampire ways of killing, like sword or lighting bolts, there are other builds for that kind of gameplay.

No not really. You can enter and exit Vampire Lord form at will but that doesn't mean you will have access to equipment most likely you will be forced to have 2 powers one in each hand be able to fly change back and sonar with assigned buttons/keys but you won't be able to use swords/bows/daggers
