Exactly how many people out of the possibly 30,000 possible beta testers can we expect to be able to chosen

Well if they are announcing it to the public they are probably looking for a pretty good amount of people. Otherwise they would have just kept it within the community. So im guessing maybe like 3k or so? The more people testing, the better the results. Plus I feel that this is a great move that Bethesda is making in forging a greater & more active community. I would imagine forum vets would get first choice and then a certain percentage would be new forum goers. Beth obviously listens and respects its community so I'm sure it will be careful to not step on anyones toes.

I'm guessing between 50-200, but that's just my guess. I don't have any official information. They had a Bloodmoon beta with 50 or so if I remember correctly, and the Fallout: New Vegas beta for PC users only had 15 or so, so they never had that many public beta testers. If they go above 200 I will be very surprised.

But there is one bugs fear. In their code he is Betakiin, Testerborn!

I doubt its only one as the more beta tester there are the more information is collected and the better the results, so any bugs can be fixed faster. I think maybe around 20 as that seems ideal. They prob want more varied players, hence the survey.
