New Jobs

I don't even know if it's possible to add, probably not, but if it were which new jobs would you like to see added to Skyrim.

I'd personally like the job of being a jailor. Sounds pretty boring but it could be spiced up with the occasional prisoner trying to or suceeding in escaping. You would then need to track him down to the bandit camp he was hiding in, kill the bandits and lead him back to prison. Perhaps the option would appear to accept bribes to allow prisoners to escape or to bring them luxury goods.
There could also be an arena with fights to the death between inmates. On which you could place bets and watch. Probably need a new prison constructed somewhere in the wilderness, perhaps holding war criminals from the Civil War.

Imperial Legion Forsester (or Skyrim Forester if you won the CW for the Stormcloaks). Since I seen these guys in Oblivion I really wanted to become one, you get quests to hunt a specific number of certain wild animals eg. kill 10 deer, kill 5 cave bears etc. Then you return the pelts to the head of the forestry service to recieve your wages. There could be new books and maps in the building telling you the best locations to hunt all wild animals in the game. As well as new forestry gear, weapons uniform etc. etc.

More odd jobs? Yes please.

You should add being a Bard to the list, we should be able to learn how to use intruments and sing since we can join the Bards College.

But our characters don't speak

we'll all have to join screamo bard bands because we can only shout and grunt.

Agree about the bards. I joined to be a bard not their errand girl. I also want to work as a barmaid or be a shopkeepers assistant.

Not an excuse now that they have already put membership to the Bards College in the game. I mean really, allow us to join a guild and prevent us from actually learning what the guild is about?

We don't need to sing, just play a lute or something. Equipping the lute just plays the accompanying music. And earns us coin from appreciative customers. I like it. You can go on quests to find rare pieces of music created by the ancient Nords, music so beautiful it was said to bring tears to Ysgramors eyes.

My bad then, it seems sarcasm doesn't translate well over the forums. Sorry about that

Before the game came out there was a thread similar to this, just about what jobs people wanted in the game. Caravan guard seemed to be quite popular, although probably not the case now as the only "caravans" in game are a few khajits, and they already have their own guards.

I'd hope they add a series of vampire hunting "job" sidequests with dawnguard though. There are probably hundreds of hidden vampire cults in skyrim and the vigilantes of Stendar are useless.
