So , Dawnguard gives us more builds !

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 12:19 pm

Hello everybody !

So I have a plan of making a character using the new features of the DLC !

Here's the build ( more RP , less technical build , just as I love ):

Name: Ragnarok
Last Name: Kha-Zor
Race: Orc
Age: 24
Birth Place: Small wooden house around the Dragontail Mountains.

He's the Heavy archer type , he will use Crossbows and also Heavy armor.
Many think he's another one of these brutes but he's actually smart.
He came upon archery when he noticed his precise sight.

His parents were a Breton and an Orc.
Once a Thalmor group came to his home at night , it seemed like they were vampires.
They took his father and he never saw him again.
( Here comes the hatred for vampires and Thalmor , we need to hate them after all don't we ? )

I don't think a variation of the bow gives a whole new build.............

Do you reckon there will be an alternative way to become a werewolf instead of companions including in this dlc (excluding hircine's ring or whatever)

I hope so. I've heard that Vampire Lords and Lycanthropes are going to be mutually exclusive, and it seems foolish to make it so you'll have to give it up to join a faction, and have no way to get it back if you decide it's terrible.

My Orc characters parents were an Orc and a Altmer thus why he is so gifted in the Arcane. He has a backstory to why he is enemies with the Thalmor. He is neutral about vampire or were-creatures. If these new vamps are more arcane oriented that will be his new power.

All this is pointless unless they raise the level cap, cause most my builds are at 81. I doubt, I'm going to build another PC untill all the dlcs out, when I probably will do another complete playthrough.

The cap is purely mathmatical. Once all skills are at 100, you are level 81. So when they add more skills, like Vampire Lord and Lycanthropy, the cap will be raised. However, the only way to level up would be to become one of those creatures.

The perks are unlocked depending on how many feedings/kills you have performed, they are not linked to levelling in any way.

I would like to see a unique way of traelling for the vampire. Like the spells made with mods to teleport to the target of the spell but you turn into a cloud of bats.

They should add a skill tree associated with crossbow.

I wouldn't be surprised if the cap is not raised because of how you get perks for the two monster trees.

Looking forward to fighting a vampire lord as a werewolf, if you could become a white werewolf it would be like marcus fighting william from underworld

I'm starting to get the impression that this may be one of the next great demands for werewolves once Dawnguard releases with the werewolf perk tree, assuming it isn't being addressed in Dawnguard already. We shall have to see. And yes, I think it would be a good idea to add alternative ways of becoming a werewolf as well.

Could it be that they wanted to know if you were a werewolf to see if you had the disease immunity? I would think vampire lord would be a disease as well.
