Not without a mod. Umbra was... changed, in the game prequel novel Lord of Souls.

I think they killed Umbra off in one of the books. And since Beth has confirmed that the books are canon...

Yeah i was looking for it to and when i read it was destroyed im like oh well, somehow it will pop up eventually be it dlc or another game.

Those books have been such a pain... They destroyed Morrowind, killed Umbra. Ugh.

Well, Morrowind kinda had it coming through the Dumners own actions.. then there's what happened in TES III, which really led up to that in the end. The books pretty much describe what had been inevitable for a long time. Though the one thing I hated about the books were the typos I noticed.

Never used the sword myself though.. never had a use for it in Oblivion.

The book says the champion gave up umbra but really you guys should want goldbrand back more then umbra.

That's actually a great ploy for Bethesda to market the novels as well as put out new DLC to sell.

yes goldbrand is one of the things i miss the most. If Titus Mede got to use it(rumored in lore)why cant I?
