Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 6:08 am

In preparation for Dawnguard i decided to create a new character, i'm going to become a vampire.

I'd like to know what would be most suitbale build for a vampire, i'd prefer not to join a guild, i also would like to know what quest are suitable for a evil vampire.(state only the names i'll uesp them)

Builds dont really matter be it mage or 2 handed warrior. Most Vamps in game do have a handle on Destruction Conjuration and Illusion though. But there is no reason why you couldnt be a "sword and board" warrior. My particular Vamp is like a sneaky Battlemage. Heavy armor, 1 handed Axe and the 3 mage skills i stated above. As far as quests...well the DB obviously...the rest I personally just sort of Role Play.

There is a chance the vampire lords are a different type of vampire (volkihar), But anyways, i would put some perks into restoration (at least until you get necromage) and some into sneak, illusion and enchanting (to counter the disadvantages to a point). you don't have to play a particular build just because your vampire though.

Might wanna be a dark elf or high elf. Nord is actually good too.

Dark elves are resistant to fire.

High elves are my personal favorite because the high magic supply and freakish regeneration rate. Plus high elves are magicaly inlined in a simular way to vampires.

Nords are resistant to frost so you can tap into a total frost resistance at level two of vampirism and the battle cry is a nice touch as a vampire roaring and causing the week to scatter is pretty cool.
