I assume it'll be similar to Werewolves in that you can transform at will, but you'll need to feed or absorb souls to maintain the form.

No it says in one of the interviews that you can stay in that form as long as you want.

I really love that you earn perks by using the beast form/ vampire lord. I am thinking about a level 1 werewolf playthrough. Cant wait for the PS3 release

I honestly like the Vampires more in general.. but what really made me want to be them for sure over my current Werewolf was the idea of biting people, staying in your form all you want, being able to change back to normal and back to the Vampire Lord again right after, and well... I find magic very amusing! :D
