Skyrim looks like game of thrones

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 5:49 am

Man, when I played skyrim, I directly thought it was like Game of thrones. The same kingdom system but with 9 kingdoms, Middle Age experience, a bit of fantasy, but not as much as in Oblivion. I think that they're really close! That's making both even more interesting !

You mean...a fantasy game set in a cold Nordic-styled area is similar to another fantasy story set in a cold Nordic-style area? Nowai! AND THEY BOTH HAVE DRAGONS? It's a conspiracy I tells ya!

Don't you mean Game of thrones looks like skyrim? By the way the game is terrible. Good thing I rented it. You think skyrim textures are bad on Xbox? Look at game of thrones. It's terrible

If graphics mean everything to you, then yes, it is terrible. I haven't played it, but I've only heard good things about its story.

On topic: Skyrim looks like Game of Thrones because that style of fantasy is popular now, and it also fits the Nordic-themed land of Skyrim. Cyrodiil looked like LOTR in some ways, because that was popular when Oblivion came out.

The game of thrones games story IS AMAZING, it's almost as good as the actually song of ice and fire (Probably due to the fact martin supervised it personal.)

It's not just graphics my good sir. The combat is way repetitive. An if you can get past all the bugs then yes the story is decent

The Imperial guards armor. They copied the style from LOTR rather than using the typical Roman-style Imperial armor.
