Don't flame me - I'm not considering this for the sake of Skyrim.

I'm thinking about popping a 120GB SSD into my PS3. I have a 320GB model and we're using very little space. I'm mostly considering it now because I'm an insufferable nerd, and you can pick up small SSD for around 100 bucks now.


I'm curious to know if people who have swapped out for an SSD if their loading times are improved and by how much.

There are lots of places claiming GT5 load times being cut in half and I'm wondering if the same relative increase is seen in Skyrim.

So my question is for people with the SSD upgrade what load time improvements have you seen?

I'm also curious if anyone has comments regarding the need for included garbage collection since afaik PS3 is lacking TRIM.
