It's not exactly a huge problem in the game, but it is a little odd when your character plucks an axe, blade or hammer out of thin air.

Oh my Word I think the same way. It is really annoying pulling a second weapon out of thin air.

It's a purely aesthetic subject. Not to be a [censored], but it's also probably not very high on their "must fix" list.

Yes, but there are a lot of aesthetic bugs that are a problem, like the Jeweled Pitcher not showing up in the Cistern after 75 jobs or the Sapling bug in Whiterun. I'm not a programmer, but these don't seem to be the bugs that would take a long time to correct, so I don't understand why they haven't been dealt with.

Granted, this one does seem a little more complicated, but the point remains that they shouldn't just focus on the big problems and say "Meh, good enough," when they feel a questline is no longer bugged.

I want them to make us be able to choose puting our one handed weapons on our backs with or with out "sheaths" (cause axes and maces dont really have a sheath just a "holster") should be up to us. Also two handed swords should have a sheath/holster option so they don't just look like they float around. At least a sheath/holster like the one the iron sword have, its simple but effective.

Also some one handed weapons need sheaths or holster like the Katanas have none even Dragonbane has nothing it just floats.

Also quivers we can put on our lower back (like the showed in the trailer for the crossbows) should be available to long bows too.

Just aesthetic stuff but it creates more customization and immersion.

The difference that I don't think you're understanding is:

Having a second sword (when sheathed) on your hip when in 3rd person view is aesthetic. It would be for looks only and does not affect gameplay.

The Jeweled Carafe (or whatever it is) is an actual part of a Thieves Guild side quest. Therefore it's more important because it actually affects something in the game other than someone's delicate sensibilities.

This is why something like not being able to see the second sword is most likely near the bottom of the Devs honey-do list.

So is the pitcher apparently. I've been emailing Bethesda and PMing Gstaff every time a new patch comes out, asking if it's possible for them to fix the bugs for the Thieves' Guild (Brand-Shei, Nightingale Blade, Pitcher, Litany of Larceny etc.) and each time they tell me they'll pass my note along. So then I wait for a month or two, and new patch notes get released, and I see they didn't fix what I was asking about, so I message them both again, asking if these things might be added while the patch is still in beta. That doesn't work out either, so then I message them again after the new patch is released, asking if they'll please, please, please try to address these problems in the following patch.

I've been doing this since 1.2, and I still haven't seen these things addressed.

I am more interested in getting a fix that assigns a hot key to put a weapon to my left hand. Better yet, assign left and right with one hot key.

I disagree. They've obviously spent a lot of time and resources for underwater texture when most people will spend a grand total of 30 seconds in a playthrough under water. A lot more people dual wield weapons and some mods already have that option. It would take a few hours tops to have this in the game.

It's the same thing for weapons that can't be improved at a forge: Nord Hero Bow, Skyforge Steel Dagger, etc. It would take 60 seconds top, one code line to change. It's pure lazyness.

Then apparently a majority of people don't have a problem with this. Unless a majority of people have a problem with it, or it's vastly affecting game play, then it usually gets placed on a back burner until... whenever they get around to it.

That's probably why there's no fix yet.

I'd rather they improved the speed of attacks for dual wielding first.

Somebody with two axes should be able to have a faster hit rate than somebody with a single ax and shield.

They should fix the position of sheathed daggers while they're at it then. My assassin keeps stabbing herself with her weapon while sneaking/crouching. It goes all the way through her thigh. It looks so painful, that it makes me cringe everytime I see it. They could just use the sword position to fix this, too, because it doesn't seem to happen with swords.

But does it honestly take someone weeks to fix the single bits of code that are causing these bugs to occur? They console command fixes for all of these are on the UESP, so they could even use those as reference points.

Again, I concede that this dual weapons thing is probably more complicated, but when I see that a lot of the patch notes for a new patch are fixing things that the last patch broke by adding new features, I get confused and annoyed.

Would be nice. I just imagine being able to sheath dual weapons on your back. Now that would be amazing.

They should, and they will eventually, it's Bethesda we're talking about here, they will definitely get to it. I too, agree though.

That's just it though. It might just be a simple fix, but there is other stuff that is way more important to fix first.
