They said it will have lots of castles and fortresses so I'm hoping maybe these function like dungeons and respawn, so if you've nothing better to do, you can alway hop dimensions and go storm a fortress.

Probaly they wouldn't put so much detail and new enemies in one place for you to never see it again!

I personally would be very disappointed and fairly irritated if you can't return after the quest is done with.
