Are you growing your hair out, or maybe a beard?

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 1:20 pm

I didn't give it much thought when I first heard about the ability to change your facial features with the Dawnguard add-on because I really like how my character looks. But I got to thinking, while I don't want to change the facial features of my character, it will be cool to add some facial hair, and maybe lengthen my hair. It actually adds significantly, in my opinion, to the role-playing element. I'll start out with some stubble, turn it into a beard, and then blow it out like the guy at Warmaiden's in Whiterun. I'm actually kind of excited about this now.

I sort of do it already, A few times I stat off as a child..(Well more like a midget since I can't find any child mods) and gradually increase my character's size and hair until I reach advlthood at around level 30ish.

I like the idea to lengthen the hair or beard. I would grow it out and then cut it off or style it according to its length. I do this in certain games anyways but if I cannot lengthen my hair I choose certain styles that is a little longer and longer until I get the one I want or I stick around a certain hairs length the best I can with what's in the game OCD I know.

Everyone heard the part where they said you could only access this via the Thieves Guild right? So anyone who role plays fighter or mage is screwed. Thanks Bethesda!

I'm definitely going to change my hair up. And I always wanted to put a beard on my character but I couldn't every bring myself to do it because it was permanent. Now its not, so I'm busting that svcker out.

I don't think it's in the Thieves Guild, I believe it's in the Ragged Flagon which you don't need to join the Thieves Guild to access.

Heck, I might even throw some of that ridiculous war paint on my face every now and again.

They said the rat way, they did not say where but I will take any of my characters in there to change my appearance when I think they need it or when I get tired of looking at them.

I always wished that we could make a younger looking character. I play as an Imperial 90% of the time and no matter what I do, I always have heavy smile lines that make me look much, much older. I'd like a late-20s hero.
