Gamesave loading problem?

Hi everyone! I'm Arlen20 new to these forums. I have been playing Skyrim on my Xbox 360 for about a month now. I recently downloaded Skyrim through the Steam app/program. I've been experimenting with the Mods in the Workshop, and Hex Editing tweaks too. So far things have gone smoothly, but recently pertaining to the topic title above. I have been trying to play my saves from my PC version on my Xbox 360, and although for the most part i've figured out the sequence, i have been having trouble using 360 saves in my PC version.

When i did my research it said i had to change the format the file ends with to ".ess" from the ".exs" it comes in from the console. I've done that and alot of the time the game says something like "your gamesave is out of date (version 0) and your PC version is (version 9). " I've also got the reverse case too where my 360 version was more updated than my PC version.

Now I've updated both the 360 version and the PC version to the most recent that i know of. So i shouldn't get version errors should I?

I contacted Steam support about sense its through their app. They referred me to Bethesda's support page for the game which doesn't really help any and looks outta date a bit.

So i sign up on here to see if anyone had any ideas of how i could find a system/way of going back and forth between 360 and PC with my save working both places. I don't wanna like majorly mess with the game or anything i just wanna be able to play the game with enhancements that don't mess up the game and enjoy experimentation to some extent through Mods.

Thanks for any help given I've working with this issue for a while.
