Mods being released as official updates?

Hi everyone its Arlen20. I have been looking through videos and posts of various Mods for the PC version of Skyrim through the Steam Workshop. I have come across some sound Mods that are more like enhancements to the sounds that are already there. The series is called "Sounds of Skyrim."

The modder has developed pretty much awesome enhancements to what you hear in the world, specifically in dungeons and the wilds so far. He's working on more. They sound amazing!! =)

I was wondering if there has been any though to taking some of the workshop Mods like the one i mentioned, that just further enhance the audio and others which enhance the scenery and some how release them at some point as an official update to both the PC version (although not really needed sense it can be downloaded anyway) and as an update to the 360 version of the game?

I personally think that the "Sounds of Skyrim" Mod series you could call it, should be a Official update to the console version too at some point. It would create so much more atmosphere and i think enjoyment for the player.

I'm not saying that "all" mods should be cross platform. Just those like the above one that doesn't directly create something completely unfair or new in the game. That rather enhance features already in place in the game like sounds, music, and the richness of the scenery.

Thoughts and Answers if you have some would be appreciated. Thanks!

Turning user-created content into officially backed content usually involves a lot of legal tangling and wrangling that most companies simply don't want to deal with for most mods - even most really good mods. It also opens up a new avenue of bug support that they have to commit to handling, even if only in a minimal fashion.
