Does anyone else want to see this return as much as I? I thought the arena was positively the best part of Oblvion. I would beat it on every playthrough, and I cried the manliest tears that have ever been cried when I discovered it would not be in Skyrim.

I found it to be kind of lame to be honest, mostly because of how drug out it was.

Sad thing is they had an arena in skyrim it was never added...... now I'm sad .

WHAT!? We must seek revenge. Or maybe they are holding it out for when Cyrodill makes its grand return.

Yeah I really miss the arena. I always thought it would be cool if they added one in one of the orcish strongholds and you could go there and prove that you are worthy to be admitted into their camp.

I would love to see it come back fleshed out a bit more.

It's called "The Pit" and, technically, it is still in the game: it's part of the Windhelm palace although it can lo longer be accessed.

There was a faction built around it and a proper quest line. Some dialogue leftovers and scripts are still in Skyrim data files.

No since none would have recognized you as the grandmaster in Skyrim, npcs in Skyrim may look better than in Oblivion but their personalities is even more dead i'm afraid.

i wonder if modders can use the scripts and data file to make a mod for it.

Its probably already been done, modders can do amazing things.. when they aren't making mods for bigger briasts or no bras ...

I really miss the arena if they have a DLC coming after Dawnguard they better make it harder! As tougher enemies like Npc's with a little buff a little health boost to match you're level and have a raiment like in Oblivion!

I have a theory! Don't shoot me because it will hurt. You say they cancelled the Arena before release. I reckon they will bring it as DLC.

The evidence: Bethesda getting Hearthfire Domain... In TES:Arena it was knows as heartfire and was referenced alot in the game itself.

Being the month meaning September though... might just be the month of release of new DLC or reveal.

Those are my 2 theories and the closest i can think of the arena coming to skyrim.

Sure they could. I hope Bethesda will restore this cut content though in a futurepatch
