). Now I'm looking for help on finding mods. Since the community has been hard at work creating scads of them, I figured I'd state the things that I would like to find a mod for and go from there based upon recommendations.1. UI Mod - First and foremost, I must change the UI since it is abysmal for playing with a mouse and keyboard. I know there was one called Skyrim UI or something similar that was being worked on, and is it the go-to mod (much like DarN/Dark DarN was with Oblivion) or there others to choose from. I would especially like one that gives you an easy way to compare your inventory with containers/merchants. As well, improving the smithing/crafting UI would be helpful as well and fixing book reading (knowing which books I have read or not) and fixing an inventory list full of various soul gems all individualized with Common Souls and such...
2. Backpack Tent Mod. - In Oblivion someone had come up with a great mod that was essentially a backpack that turned into a tent, complete with storage and stuff, so that I can play to my heart's content without having to go back to my home to plant my loot. Has anyone come up with a similar one?
3. Mods to add more variety to Skyrim - Playing through it, it got very...samey...throughout the game. Are there mods that add more unique areas to explore or more colour to the land, or simply more different creatures even, considering how bland creatures get after a while. How about larger battles? More monsters/spawn points? Gigantic dungeons and such?
4. Mods that alter the skill/perk trees - Specifically Smithing/Enchanting/Alchemy and Sneak feel broken, but I would like to see options of what people have done. Have people added new ones? Redone the old ones? Or simply replaced perks with other perks?
5. Mods that add more realism to the game - I've seen many that add hypothermia/resting/eating, etc to the game. Are there certain ones to really look at? Altering darkness would be nice as well, and traps that are actually deadly.
6. Mods that fix/add to the Guild quests - Boy were these underwhelming. Are there any mods that alter the Thieves Guild/Brotherhood/Companion/and Mage's Guild in particular.
7. Can shouts be added? Have people played with dragon souls to use them for other things than unlocking shouts?
8. Mods that add to the crafting suite - Give me more stuff to build. Let me live off the land, so to speak. Craft arrows for example? A reason for food?
9. Any other stand-out mods, add-ons that I should be aware of?
10. Anything necessary like Oblivion Script Extender, BOSS, Unofficial Patches and the like?
As an aside, how much better is the Creation Kit than Oblivion's Editor? Does it let you do as much only easier? Or more or less?
Thanks for any help! Hopefully I will be able to mod the crap out of this game and actually play it rather than just continually modding...
