So vampire lords are probably gonna be weak.

I'm sorry, did you not see the vampiric grip spell? He flung a guard unto a roof, I will have fun in solitude for sure.
Well I guess my character has to become a vampire lord if he wants to become a sith lord.

According to this guy http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1380355-ten-things-about-the-vampire-lord/ vampire lords can not use their human form spells. I don't know what to say to that other than I am disappointed ;(.

You shouldn't even care about that because now you'll be able to toss guards around like giant rag dolls. That'll keep me entertained for a good while by itself.

BloodBrandon dude I hope so :D I want them to be crazy overpowered but the aoe vampire drain seemed really weak even against weak NPC like the grand mother. If you can hold them in vamperic grip and not being forced to throw them away than that will be cool, just holding some storm cloaks or thalmor (hate both of them) and letting your gargoyle whale on them :D or maybe hit them with another spell.

Yes, that'd be amazing! I could be like, "Look at this ugly face! See what the Dark Side does to you!? But you gotta admit, this grip is amazing!" :D
