One crossbow IS NOT CONFIRMED! : V - Skyrim

They're giving us one type of Crossbow, but to make up for lack of selection they've picked out a very snappy set of Horse Armor.

I base this knowledge on nothing.

Hopefully it's neon orange, as I could then tell where Shadowmere is. Sneaky horse...Wonder if he's still flying around on that dragon's back?

On topic - Some people have said that the dawnguard are going to be under-powered, I have a sneaking suspicion that isn't the case. They do get an armored troll to fight with them. Also, anyone else think they might have some extra fangs 'n hair? So 1 or 1,000 different crossbows doesn't matter, I'm sure other things will be used more-so.

I learned a long time ago (Oblivion) that you really need to assume the worst news is true.

I'm probably in a tiny minority, but I actually really dislike that every weapon comes in Every material (Almost) since Oblivion.

How much sense does a Glass Warhammer or Mace make? (Pretty though they may be)

Likewise, Dwemer were all about Heavy Armor and Heavy Weapons... But a Dwarven Dagger, a Dwarven Bow? (Crossbow works)... I just don't see it making sense.

Apparently there is a Dwarven Crossbow. The lead artist confirms it in the vid below. By crossbow works are you referring to the fact it was in Morrowind. That was what you edited right? But yes I do know what you mean. Always assume the worst things can only turn out better than expected.

Weren't we just discussing this in another thread, was this one really necessary?

Anyhow, it's nice to know there's more than one but I'll still be sad if I can't forge myself a daedric crossbow.
