I bought this game when it was released and played it for a month or two and it ran perfectly fine with high FPS with all of the graphics maxed out.

Stopped playing until today, decided to give it another try and apparently the game auto updated patches through Steam and now I'm getting yellow flashes. (Interesting fact: the flashes only occur in first person view, when I'm in third person it doesn't happen.)

I'm certain this is some sort of patch issue since I've read countless people complaining about patches breaking their game, and because the game ran perfectly fine when I first played it.

Any help would be appreicated.
