The two Blades headquarters in Skyrim and Oblivion are both in my opinion some of the most interesting locations in game, whats your opinion? Do you think that one is better than the other or do you think that better locations could have been designed.
Sky Haven Temple as it is in-game or as it was in it's prime? Because the one in the game is a sad and melancholy scene, completely abandoned and in ruins even after you bring the Blades together. However, I imagine it was amazing back when the Blades were still organized and the temple was alive.
If we're comparing them in-game, I'd have to say Cloud Ruler Temple was better because it actually had an alive and running Blades faction stationed there.
I adore Sky Haven Temple - the blood seal, the architecture, Alduin's Wall, that amazing view ... But Cloud Ruler holds a special place in my heart. Yes, I visited Cloud Ruler after Sky Haven, but I have really fond memories of Cloud Ruler, where as Sky Haven just reminds me of Delphine ...
There's something special about sky haven but I feel like it should be restored (slightly like new items such as banners and books) and have a couple more rooms (maybe people too) to make it homey
I'd like to see a new military faction come from High Hrothgar for those that chose to not kill Paarthurnax. I've gone right off the blades since they tried to force me to turn against Paarthurnax.
A unit that works in a similar way to how the Blades used to and help to keep peace (like a Holy order) but instead of hunting down the dragons, they follow in the path and ways of the Greybeards.
Their armor could resembles a Teutonic Knight / Templar / Hospitaller (or similar to the character from Assassins Creed)
Does anyone else Alduin's Wall have horrible lighting around it? There has always been an obnoxiously bright glare on it for me, and it wasn't as high resolution (xbox) as I would have thought something important or used to ADVERTISE THE GAME with to be.
Eitherway I don't really like the place. Even if you recruit people it feels too empty to me. And those 2 training out front at Clout Ruler temple always felt so...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5FRbZ1zZm4&feature=player_detailpage#t=83s.
it's got to be cloud ruler temple for me. I like sky haven temple but as most people have said it feels slightly empty. I also preferred cloud ruler due to the bedrooms upstairs, the armory and other nice little things.
I prefer sky haven temple if your gonna have a base for whats supposedly a secret organisation the public dont know about or need to hide from people. Inside a mountain and protected by traps rather than on top of a mountain 20 minites away from a town that has a road leading up to it
I think cloud ruler was cool but it was pretty well known for the base of a secret organization so sky haven I guess made more sense wish I didn't have to kill paarthurnax to get to hang out with them though.
