The hardest dungeon you have ever been in

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 2:33 am

Well i am returning to play skyrim with a bunch of mods installed (around 70+) and i would like to hear some cool hard dungeons you have been in, by hard i don't mean to have some puzzles that you need to go online in oder to fugure them out i probably have done most of those, i mean dungeons that have some interesting bosses many enemy's and are overall hard but will make you remember them a long time. So if you know any of those throw them here and give me a location where are they at and their names :)

Err... The only puzzles that have ever annoyed me enough to almost have to look it up would be the bride puzzle in Ralanthbur... and thats because I couldnt find the switch which was in the most obvious place...

Most playstyles cease to be hard at level 70, well before that actually, so it's hard to think of a difficult dungeon. However there are a number of interesting dungeons such as Kagrenzel, Sightless Pit ,Tolvald's Cave .. all interesting for different reasons, and there are quite a few others

hmmm i think the dungeon that has to do with the daedric lord peryite quest ,
the boss in the dungeon is Orchendor a powerful wood elf mage and worshiper of peryite .

as my character is a mage i had to resort to other tactics , since destruction magic doesnt even damage him one bit , plus Orchendor can teleport once he is hit .

I think the hardest to complete caves would have to be one's were the bossses use ice magic... i think that has killed me more than anything in the game...
Unless you're a vampire and get huge resistance to it.

Snow veil sanctum have a a tough moment, if you play it around level 45+, theres a spawn of 5~7 deathlords, just a few moments before the thieves guild plot disclosure - what is awesomely tough since 4 of these 7 wield ebony great axes and the other ebony swords and maybe ebony arrows+bow

Edit: Snow veil sanctum lies northeast of Windhelm, and you have access by advancing on the thieves guild questline only.

Some dwemer ruins with steam centurion in the end, blocking the narrow path. You have to fight like 10 felmer alongside with him, there is little place to maneuvr, and on master he was VERY hard to kill. Took me like 20 deaths to beat him

Kagrenzel and Tolvald's Cave are in the far east of the map, between Windhelm and Riften in the mountains.
Sightless Pit is just south of Saarthal -were you go for mages guild quest- and west of Azura's Shrine

There is also http://www.uesp.net/maps/srmap/srmap.shtml which you can use too look the places up.

Angarvunde in the south below Ivarstead, Sightless pit south-west of Winterhold, Ansilvund north of Riften and Deepwood redoubt, west of Solitude all gave me a run for my money.
