Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:01 pm

I heard a roumer that they said that they are changeing the way normal vampires look i want to know if its true or not and if so does any one know what their going to look like becase i have a few "normal" vampire saves and i don't whant to load up a saved file and end up yelling what the "hell is that thing!!" and get cased out of town by ever man woman and child. Also how will that play into the story will this keep you from getting into the dawnguard will it give you a boust with the vampires or will it mean noting?
any info will be appeated.

It is confirmed that they're changing some things, though I've heard the vanilla vampire is untouched, & it's just your base form, if you're a vampire lord.
Granted, that could be wrong. So don't hold me to it.

I'm pretty sure I heard the same thing, but maybe it's just the glowing eyes in the trailer or something small like that. Hopefully the vampire drain spell gets a boost, it really needs it.

As for info, we got nothing. Just gotta wait till it's released or if Bethesda gives some out.

I was under the impression the current strand of vampirism in the game was staying the same, and the vampire faction in Dawnguard were the Volkihar, an entirely different strand?

Sort of. They are supposed to be a new strand of vampirism. But, I'm pretty sure they've said they're making changes to how the vampires already in the game work.

I've read on multiple websites that they are making Stage 4 vampirism where NPCs wont Interact with you. Basically, they will only attack you If you're in Vampire Lord form.

Vampire Lord is the special form a vampire can turn in to like a werewolf. So again like Jefferson Trachea said, your base form is fine.

I asked the same thing, but apparently also vanilla vamps are getting a "revamp" (forgive my little pun): I asked in the previous thread, look for it. although, with the exception of stage 4 peacefulness (which makes no sense to me BTW) there have been no more details.

I wonder if we'll be able to see some Holy places: a cathedral where to fight vampires, in the Soul Cairn, for example :D

In a E3 video, (not todd howard) Matt something said they went back and changed vampires(all the caves that they're in and everywhere else they are) Matt did NOT say what they changed but did say they changed some things.

I wish they'd change the voice of the vampires. They're so mundane compared to the vampires in Morrowind.
I remember being scared *bleep*less when I first encountered one in a dwemer ruin.

I hope we keep the current vampiric eye color. Everything else can go!

Oh and female vampires that are not Mer do NOT have vampiric eyes. I hope Bethesda changes this.
