I encountered...myself?!

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 1:40 am

So I'm doing my usual thing of Companion rescue mission nonsense, killing Thalmor hit squads on the road...

When all of a sudden, I see a mercenary with the same haircut as me. Cool, I think! So I dismount from my horse to take a better look at him.

This guy looked very, very, VERY much like me. Was a bit more clean cut on the beard, but still! He even had a damn good voice too, something similiar to what I imagined. And he was off to a necromancer fort! Something that I do between hunting vampires/undead...

When I first started playing Skyrim I had a load of hired thugs wearing all iron armour after me. I was really confused because I was wearing all iron armour and I thought that there were 3 of me chasing me around.
I missed the days when I thought that Skyrim was more complicated that it actually is.

Nice. At least yours was a random NPC; I almost had a heart attack when my Khajiit mage arrived in Winterhold and saw J'Zargo - they could have been twins :P

You think that is bad? Play Dead Island, in the opening cutscene your character gets so drunk that you argue and possibly fight with yourself :slap:

I've killed random enemies that are just named after their race that remind me alot of my other characters. A quest where you have to find a clone of yourself or your other characters you've made would be [censored] awesome.

Imagine if he had the same name as your character too.

Now I'm tempted to make a character who looks like Balgruuf, kill him and take his place.

This happened with me before. I encountered a dead Nord soldier who was the spitting image of my character (who coincidentally looks quite similar to me). Spooky.

THAT...is a brilliant RP idea for any character! My wheels are turning. This can easily lead to another restart.
