Then why even make Skyrim? We could just go enjoy all of Skyrim's gameplay (and more) on Morrowind.

Because Skyrim doesn't revolve around spears.

Not necessarily a must, since we have bows and crossbows. But for the sake of variety and role-playing, sure. Or maybe just the option to throw your daggers and war axes? Like in Dead Island.

What he is saying is that Morrowinds Gameplay far exceeds Skyrim's Gameplay. So instead of complaining about whats 'not' in skyrim, you should go play morrowind.

PS, I hate morrowind :D

It definitely would only make the game better. Like other features of Skyrim, people that don't like it, don't have to use it.

I'd like to see thrown weapons included. Sure you can say "but this is better why would you need it", but then you could say that about crossbows vs bows (and many annoying people already have, over and over and over - ugh). Options are always good, throwing weapons would be good for role-playing thieves or assassins who don't want to get caught with a larger weapon like a crossbow.

Plus throwing animations would be useful, you could throw some junk to distract a patrolling hostile or pelt the town beggar with tomatoes for amusemant.

The ability to throw random items at people would unlock an infinite amount of entertainment. I can't tell you how much i would like to throw things at some of the more annoying NPC's

If throwing random Items was implemeted into the game before hand, like in such times as 'Oblivion', the 'Adoring Fan' would have had more than just an arrow in his face...
Maybe even a Horse...

I definitely think the spears are a great idea. I'm not so sure about the knives or axes. Not really into the idea of ninja stars.

People always want these added in. Why not go play Morrowind and use them?
'Cuz MO's combat system, how to put this gently....svcked(don't flame me bro!). It had a borrible dice roll system, even if you saw your attack hit it's target, it woulde tell you it missed, making even mudcrabs at low levels a fearsome enemy. And why can't they be in mroe then one game? So, if in Elders Scrolls 6, there are no axes, and people asked for axes, would you tell them to go play Skyrim or Oblivion?

It'd be cool to run with a spear and drive it through people!
That would be cool.

I did mention Crossbows are comming out didn't I?
Oh Yes! I did.
They're better than any Knife and Star. They're compact, long range, and powerful.
Knives and Stars are nothing but compact..

You do realize that you have to carry a crossbow and bolts right. That was the whole point. I'm not sure but a crossbow looks heavier than a bow. With knives or stars you just carry the ammo which is light. And I never said a crossbow is not stronger or more long range but they are not light. You have to carry them.

Because Skyrim doesn't revolve around spears.

skyrim does not revolve around any weapon. What is the point of metioning this. Just because you do not like spears does not mean they should not be in game. I don't like axes or hammers but I would be annoyed if they were removed.

Throwing knifes/stars are MUCH better close range, have you tried to reload a crossbow?

There is no reasonable argument against including these weapons in a future patch/dlc. Anything that adds to the role playing experience is a plus.

Who wants to spend ages reloading a crossbow when you can quickly throw two knives into two peoples back before they even notice. Dont get me wrong crossbows look amazing but you cant compare one of them to something a stealthy character would use. Maybe not throwing stars because they dont fit the lore of the province skyrim but i think spears, throwing axes and throwing knives would make combat so much more interesting to veteran players.

They fit the lore PERFECTLY. Morrowind featured throwing stars and many of the characters in Skyrim came from Morrowind
