Female Dragons?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 3:37 am

well they dont have shirts on and flat muscular chest. i think if the giants were female some would have their chests covered up at least.and they wont have beards either. just saying. unless they have alot of testosterone if thats how u spell it
You never know, they don't have to be like other humanoids. Because I'm pretty sure female snakes or bugs don't have obviously noticeable "lady parts"

I've no clue, don't think that much in the lore is written about them, six wise. I'd assume there are male and female dragons.
Yea im scouring UESP looking where i found it. It could have even been that i read it on a loading screen as well. Im unsure where i found it. But nope they dont ever reproduce in the traditonal sense so...no need for males or females. I would assume that even IF they had males and females they would have deep "man" voices anyway being so gigantic.

People! People! PEOPLE! Yes, there are female dragons.

This how you can tell a female dragon from the males by the voice and the shape of there body and by I mean
body is female dragons are more slim then the male dragons and NO they don't have BOOBS you pervert there
still flat chested like dragons need boobs anyways, lol, so dragons are more like lizards the female have eggs
but the males can also have eggs.

They're about as female as Azura or Kynareth are... you could also ask if there's male dragons. As of Skyrim, they're genderless and immortal.

(Old) lore says Akatosh has female dragon servants (called Jills) who act as "minute menders"- basically they fix time paradoxes, but I don't know whether you can really consider them to be female now by Skyrim's standards.

It's kind of a shame, I feel like they just added dragons in Skyrim without really thinking it through.

They don't "reproduce". If Akatosh wants a new dragon, he make one. They are not mortal beings, they reproduce just as much as a dremora would (and no, dremora don't reproduce)

They're not creatures because technically gods. It's like the Daedric Princes, they are alled called princes but Azura Meridia Mephala and others appear as women. Neither have genders, they're just there. Random anology, but it's like the asari from Mass Effect, they all look female, but they aren;t male or female, because they can play either role in reproduction. But dragons don't reproduce anyway so....
actual the asari race are all female and have only female asari children. check da wiki bra

They were just comparing the asixual aspect of dragons. Like they said though dragons dont reproduce so..there is really no sixual identity to them.

dragons dont hang by nest's of eggs of dragons and protect there young, there all busy hunting people and creatures like males. So akatosh musn't have created any woman dragons.
That is cultural not Biological. Learn the difference.

Interesting, it would be cool to meet one in game at some point in time. LOL I didn't mean that as a pun.

Facepalm. They are not female. They have no gender. Tehy LOOK female. The wiki can be edited by anyone. Being female would suggest that you need to have intercourse with male in order to reproduce. An asari can just look at something really hard and reproduce with it, no matter the gender or even species.

There are female dragons, and they're called Jills. Their purpose is to repair Akatosh when he breaks (dragonbreak).

But to say dragons have a gender is like saying the daedra princes have a gender. They do not.

Also, dragons are not born, they simply "are." Paarthanax explains this, and it's very much the same kind of deal for all things divine. In fact, Mundus is the only place where things are born. Everywhere else, things simple "are." Even the daedra simply are.

ok u got me on that one but they cant just look at something they have to join minds with them.plus when two asari mate the sibling goes crazy purebloods. oh and that face palm hurt why u so violent lol.and heres the wiki for the joining

Although asari have one gender, they are not asixual. An asari provides two copies of her own genes to her offspring, which—regardless of the species or six of the 'father'—is always an asari, and in the case that the offspring is of two asari, the father is the one who does not give birth. The second set is altered in a unique process called melding, also known as the joining

No procreation means your numbers get smaller with each death. Immortality is not the same as being invincible it means without any outside intervention you for all intense purposes will live forever or basically you could live forever unless something say about 6 feet tall comes along and starts killing you.

This is in game, if the Dragon's Procreated they wouldn't have gone extinct or rather most of them wouldn't have gone extinct since Paarthonax was still chilling on the mountain and theoretically there could be a few other dragons here and there that layed low like Paarthonax.

Theoretically Dragon's could figure a way to shout more of them into existence if you think about it.

^ That is Akatosh and his incarnations' sole ability. After all, the dragons, you could say, are nothing more than the fragmented pieces of the god of time. Alduin is just the largest and most powerful of those fragments.

maybe there women dont differ to greatly in appearance to the men ever tried to tell the difference between a male elephant and a female elephant at first glance theyre essentially identicle until further examination. or perhaps male giants and female giants live quite far apart female giants might live in high rock until a sort of mating season ensues and they migrate to there breeding grounds wherever that might be and have children. which are most likely taken with the females upon the end of mating season. and when they come of age if they are female they stay with the female tribe and if they are male they are given provisions likely in the form of a mammoth to accompany them and are sent off to join the male tribe....and im amazed i thought of that so quickly.
