Why doesn't it apply to daggers? Doesn't make sense to me, was really disappointing to find this out.

I think it's a bug. Not sure though.

Im pretty sure it did last time i checked it, but that was before the last patch.. i know the sneak bonus for one handed affects dagger up until you get the 15x damage for daggers one.....

I found out when i enchanted pieces of my gear with Fortify One-Handed. All other one-handed weapons increase in damage when i equipped the gear on, but daggers remained the same.

Dagger is still very useful without Fortify One-Handed enchantment. It still has the ridiculously powerful backstab. And in straight up fights, it's still great for enchanters and poisoners because of faster damage output.

Yea I still prefer daggers, was just a little saddened that you cant use the fortify enchant on them, i guess it makes sense tho, it would make backstab + assassins blade too broken

Dagger damage is only increased by fortify marksman/archery potions.

Fortify one-handed enchantments do not work with daggers, however the Armsman perk (One-handed Damage +20% per rank) does.

This is not a bug, it's 100% intentional.
