Was definitely going to do this even if I didn't make it into the beta. I have a 4GB slim 360. I use the extra 4GB of memory as a safehouse. I'll be moving my most recent save there before I download DG.

That really only ever happened with one game, and it's incredibly uncommon for a game to take the harddrive with it. You are probably more likely to get in a car accident than get a bug like that.

This should be a given with testing ANY Beta. That is why they asked if you use any 3rd party storage device. One should at least be using the "Cloud Storage" provided in the XBL. I use it to store all of my characters and just copy over the saves for one at a time when I play. That helps limit my save game list and makes save management a breeze.

Number one was a console game ages ago, I doubt the beta testers have to worry about something like that happening. I have already backed everything up anyway, and cleared everything except Skyrim so I could actually finally install the game to the hard drive. It is much quieter now while playing. I have a reserve flash drive for hopeful beta testing and a memory card. I will probably look at the other save options if I get to test the beta.

My saves are already on a USB flash drive in case I'm chosen. I'm all set, send me my code
