Whenever I

go into the nightmother's coffin

during the dark brotherhood quest Death Incarnate. Please patch this! I finally got it after 7 unsuccesful attempts, PC version was patched, why isn't the Xbox version?

It's always black with me too, I thought that was supposed to be like that. Didn't notice a change with the release recent patches either.

]It happens to a lot of people. Try waiting (ingame) just before it goes black. After so many attempts this works. It is a very glitch and poor that it hasn't been glitched. It means you have to restart your console. But yeah try waiting.

It works as it should.

It is dark in the coffin at first, but something happens.

It scared the hell out of me the first time I experienced it.

I had the same problem. I guess you can just wait 10 mins, but if you dont feel like staring at the screen for 10 mins, you can always use the wait command and wait a couple of hours. Worked for me.

Something...happens? I went through the quest once. That is all I could muster. I tried it again and just quit. This should probably be in the spoiler section., pending how the replies get.

The face doesn't light up until Cicero is there, Cicero however walks there. So if you have some bad luck and Cicero has to come from the other side of the sanctuary it might take a bit longer. At least that's my explanation for sometimes waiting longer then other times.

I hit the middle Xbox menue button and was able to speed up the process. Just make sure you star hit it once you get in. Tap it once, exit, tap it, once, exit, tap it again and you're good.
