Expansion packdlc ideas

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:14 am

Im extremely excited for dawnguard and very happy with what bethesda has to offer. What they show us now gives a great idea of what they are capable of creating and adding more expansive content to the game. After danwguard, I'll be looking forward to the next expansion pack. For the next expansion, I thought it would be interesting to renew the blades story. I thought they left the blades off without much content, and they could do a lot more. And of course there would be much conflict with the thalmor, with them being a major enemy of the blades. Other ideas would be appreciated

I think gambling would be amazing cause it's surely been around since currency, heck maybe before ya know! I'll bet my best cow that you can't..... Lol but my cash flow is crazy right now even after buying all the homes I got tons of septims. I'm thinkin the fighters arena could make a comeback and you could bet on the fights but not yourself obviously. Multiple ranks systems such as mages would fight mages and hand to hand battles then a main championship where all are welcome but no shouts! I would try and defend my title till my last days!

I would want them to touch more on the subject of the Dunmer and Morrowind.

Well they kind of do have gambling, you can bet on yourslef in the bar fights, but yea I hear ya some card games or other games of chance in the taverns would be nice, just about every other RPG on the market has some kind of gambling going on.

What would be nice is to have a war like actually attacking castles. NOT like the Imperials and the Stormcloaks.

OP I like the idea, that could definatley be cool, but I am more in it for the extra's they add to the game than what the new story will be. (Bethesda has never been a great storyteller anyway, so I never get my hopes up). I would like to see more options from the developer's free week after the initial release get put into the game. With Dawnguard they are adding mounted combat, which is from that week, additionally they are adding the Vampire Lord, Skill Trees for Werewolves and Vampires, that will be nice. Also adding new weapons, Dragon Bone, and crossbows I know a lot of people that were asking for those. So things I would like to see in the next DLC, the build your own house that was show cased in the free week video, that would be awesome by a parcel of land, then buy building materials from the mills, then buy accessories from merchants. That would be great and finall something to spend our gold stockpiles on. Also, I would like to see them add better features to control the economy, like taxes on the houses, and maybe renting stalls at the stables, having it cost extra at the inns if you have an ally with you, also the carriage if an ally is with you. Make it so followers can level up and give them skill trees too, then maybe we can avoid those accidental follower deaths at higher levels. Then maybe put in requirements to eat and sleep or suffer penalties to health and stamina, make it so we can carry bedrolls, and some other camping gear so we can crash around a campfire when we come out of a cave in the middle of the night, instead of standing there until morning or running back to town in the dark. If they could even add one or two of these things in the next DLC it would be awesome for me.

Great ideas there brg and I love the Psijic order idea but I agree the free week at Bethesda was amazing, so many great ideas went in. Even The seasonal changes looked amazing. I would love to lose some money tho as crazy as that sounds. I've stockpiled enough jewels and armor\weapons that a super rich guy carrying more than a couple thousand gold would be great!!

With the blades story could be its very own main questline, along with other side quests. It could take place in a new area in skyrim, or somewhere entirely different. Of course, new weapons, new armor, new options. I thought it over and it would be cool for a little mini game where you are the grand master and you train and recruit blades, and send them on missions to reclaim cities from thalmor

A choice between two factions. The Blades or the Greybeards. I'd personally love to become the leader of the Greybeards (: Epic robes.

Or maybe a DLC like SI. You're called to a different realm, so to speak. Maybe a whole storyline in Sovngarde?
