Nah, quite sure I didn't. I'm on the german version, but normally the updates weren't delayed (besides the kinect update, which isn't out yet too)

Yeah I've heard a lot about updates being delayed in other regions, that's really unfortunate. Check the bug forum I think I seen a thread similar to this there.
