Hey guys,

Just a question about how the ebony blade works. I do not mean about how the enchantment works or the quest or abilities. I wanna know about the skills and the perks.

Now I have heard that your one handed skill level determines the base damage of the ebony blade, while working together with ALL of the two handed perks.

Basically None of the one handed perks work, and the skill for two handed has no effect on the base damage.

I'm building a character that's centered around this blade. So is all of the aforementioned info 100% positive? Thank you all

I thought the blade worked the other way around, 2-handed skill 1-handed perks.
I never really bothered using the blade though because it wasn't that good and I didn't want to kill people to make it stronger.

Been there and done it. Make sure you play on Master difficulty or you're in for a boring ride.

I've tried this before because I wanted a daikatana, but you'll be bouncing back and forth between weapons because you basically have to level up two weapon lines. I found it a bit irritating.
