Also; horse armor is the stuff that should already be implemented.
And it is with a mod

It's like saying, "removed idea to charge you for that in Oblivion. So here it is for free in Skyrim!"

I agree. Things like this should be free. I think Beth are trying to do this. Lionhead Studios who make Fable made the mistake of trying to "milk" their fans and many have pledged never to return to them ever again

I also agree that horses could do with armor. I've just started using one since the new patch and I find myself worrying about my horse dying every time I fast travel

Well if you're on PC there's already a horse armor mod that's pretty cool.

I'd rather the DLC houses myself. I love how there's one for every guild/archtype in OB.

I'm on xbox :ermm:

I'd like new houses in some of the cities. I love a rebuild of Winterhold (perhaps centred around the Dovahkiin having a castle built there). I'd like this as part of a bigger dlc and wouldn't mind paying for this one. I wouldn't like to pay for horse armor though unless it was thrown in as a freeby on a proper sized dlc

It shouldn't be free. It should be like £2.50 or something. Oh and by the way this thread will most likely get locked.

It has not been locked yet, therefore we may still discuss constructively.

I think a Horse Armor part of Hearthfire or a third DLC would be wonderful, as long as it's a tiny part of it. And there are more armored horses in Skyrim than just yours.

I think having enemies and guards have battles on horses would be neat, can you imagine the chase scene...

We leave whiterun and see a helpless women get robbed by some bandits, they get on their horses and flee. We must chase them down and have epic battles on horse back...

I can't see how or why they should lock it. The original poster is making a very fair point and expressing the opinion of many fans. Why charge £2.50 when they can charge 10s of £s for the game and again they charge for decent sized dlc. Little things like Horse Armor being free is just like their way of saying thanks for buying the game. I'm sure we are all pleased with the horse combat for free. I know It makes me feel happier in buying Dawngaurd (even if the dlc svcked and I was seeing they are trying to keep the fans happy, I wouldn't hold grudges).

No one begrudges buying decent sized dlc. Its the little money spinners. You should have seen the fans responses on the Lionhead studios forums. I've noticed they have shut the forums down now. I'm guessing due to all the negative feed back they got from fans. Many I read have vowed never to buy a Fable game again. They will have to try hard with the Journey to turn it around. When they eventually released Traitor's Keep dlc it got a warm welcome. Look at the reviews on the other stuff

Doubling the price once again would make it more hilarious.

If they did add horse armor they would probably give it to us for free. Or include it in another expansion.

I d

No thats a stupid way of putting it. Aside from role players/ people who just dont want to do certain questlines most people logically would use the best horse in the game, who's health and the fact that it respawns makes the armour a bit pointless ( like in oblivion ).

Thats just one horse, So there should be horse armor for those of us that want a different horse.
