Overpowered and Overrated

Am I the only person not excited about Vampire Lords? They seem way overpowered and overrated.

Personally, I prefer the Cyrodiil vampires that already exist in Skyrim.

I'd much rather have the Volkihar from Immortal Blood. Though there's no reason all three strains cannot exist in Skyrim. Rather, I think they should all be available for the player to choose from.

I'm not gonna lie, they do look pretty cool, but i'm going to play as the Dawnguard on my first playthrough.

can't say if it is overpowered or not for 2 reasons
1- he was fighting weak npcs in riverwood
2- it was a test run to show off might have been cheating with god mode since you don't want to die when showing off some new features.

I personally think the "Cyrodiil" Vampires are crap, there's nothing outstanding about them, now or before. there was all of one "secluded in society" vampire in Oblivion and that was Hassildor with everyone else being little more than NPC's that infected you. Daggerfall did it best IMO.

and now in Skyrim its the same thing, and while their are sixy hidden Vamps in the cities, its still npc's that infect you with lol beams, Its great that somethings being done about that.

and well if you don't like the inclusion you can -not buy Dawngaurd- or ignore them.

They have Vampiric Grip that's all I care about. I just want to throw people around and off of cliffs.

Honestly I don't like the idea of a Vampire DLC.

But I see there making it as cool as you possibly could with vampires in it, so i'm fine with it.

Spoiler
I killed Ulfric Stormcloak then went to Sovngarde and shouted him of the waterfalls.
With vampiric grip, I should be able to just pick him up and throw him.

The vampires in the vanilla game are garbage and don't take this the wrong way lore people but backwards feedings is just stupid and im hopeing this dlc fixes the backwards feeding nonsense.

Pretty unoriginal concept, hopefully optional. If not mods'll help. I prefer the Volkihar as described in the book Immortal Blood. Cyrodilic vampires are just outright boring. So it seems like our choices are between the absurdly lame vampires from Oblivion or the derpy mutated ones from Underworld.

They give you an option to be a vampire, or a vampire hunter.

Or just not to buy it.

I like the vamps in skyrim. Thet are much easier to use than in OB and you get more powers from it. I will be a vl when I get the chance

To be quite honest... I don't like the current Vampires in Skyrim.. but due to the 2 weeks before Dawnguard release, I've forced myself to cure my Lycan and become one of the Vampires so I'm used to the powers and the style of playing. Plus, it's so much more satisfying to deal with the current Vampires for 2 weeks just to be rewarded with not being attacked at Stage 4 as well as having a new transformation that finally shows those angry Citizens that I mean business.
